Funeral services took place Jan. 24 for Michael O’Neill, 51, of Union City. She passed away Jan. 13. He was born in Jersey City and recently lived in Cliffwood Beach. He was the son of Rosa Martinez and the late Miguel O’Neill; father of Doriann O’Neill and her husband Jose Rodriguez; grandfather of Fabiola and Darianna Rodriguez. Michael also leaves behind numerous friends and family to cherish his memory, especially his best friend Kevin Mayer, who was like a brother to him. He was a wonderful and giving person and would do anything to help others. His daughter and grandchildren meant the world to him, and he will be missed sorely.
