A funeral mass was offered Jan. 31 at St. Vincent’s Church, Bayonne, for Michael J. Chelik, 61, of Rahway. He passed away peacefully on Jan. 25 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Michael has resided in Rahway for the past several years, prior to that he resided in Union City and Bayonne. He was a lifelong actor working on Broadway and with a touring company internationally in Europe. Son of the late Dorothy and Michael Alex Chelik; cousin of Joan Ausmann and her husband Paul; uncle of Lauren Pulz and her husband Ben, and their daughter Grace, and uncle of Matthew Ausmann. He is also survived by several other cousins. Services arranged by the G. Keenen O’Brien Funeral Home, Bayonne.
