With first place still up for grabs in the JCC of Bayonne’s Indoor Flag Football Junior Division, the Colts (6-1-1) took on the Bears (4-3-1) in a week seven showdown. The Bears capped off the drive with a two-point burst by Alejandro Cifuentes as the Bears built a commanding 38-6 lead. The Colts kept plugging away but the Bears’ Drew Radil continued to rule the skies as he picked off his third pass of the game. Trailing by a bunch, the Colts’ running game finally got on track as Nate “Cinch” Cintron, Da’mien Taylor and Erik Solis bulled the ball up-court. The Colts finally returned to paydirt as Christopher Ballance powered in from the five, but the Bears prevailed, 38-12.
