‘Good and honest businesses’

To the Editor:

It has been some time since Super Storm Sandy hit our area and it has taken me a while to re-organize my life in the aftermath of this natural disaster. Nevertheless, I wanted to convey my gratitude to the people who were key in helping to get my home and my business back up and running.
First of all, I’d like to thank Marcie Colabraro from the Gormley, LoRe and Murphy insurance company for processing my claim with my insurance company. Her diligence provided me with an adjustor sooner rather than later and my claim was processed in a timely manner.
Secondly, I would like to thank Leo Viguie of L&V Renovations in Bayonne for having come to my aid immediately after the storm to ensure that my property sustained no additional damage. Once the work began, it was done in a professional and cost-effective manner. Everything was on schedule and completed as promised. It has been a while since I’ve had major contracting work done on my premises but I was truly impressed by the attention to detail and the fact that the workers even cleaned up after themselves.
In a world that is moving much too fast for all of us to keep up with its pace, we often take for granted good and honest people who run good and honest businesses. I don’t want to lose this opportunity of commending their hard work and dedication to good customer service and to recommend their businesses to any potential property owners looking for an agency to represent their insurance needs and a contractor to renovate their homes, whether it be from a disaster or because they want to make their homes a little nicer. Thank you for making my life a little less complicated, and a special thanks to Haydee.
