Funeral services were held Jan. 3 for Helene Spillner, 66, of Secaucus. She passed away Jan. 1. She was born in Jersey City and lived for many years in Union City and Florida before moving to Secaucus. She was a bar manager for Jake’s Restaurant in Florida for several years before retiring. She was the wife of Fred Spillner and the mother of Donna Mendez and Frank Reynolds. She was the sister of Richard Paul and Joseph Rocheny as well as the grandmother of Shannon, Anthony, Ashley Reynolds and Lindsay Mendez and great granddaughter Kayla.
