A funeral mass was held Jan. 3 at St. John the Baptist Church in Fairview for Anna B. O’Brien, 94 of North Bergen. She passed away Dec. 29. Anna was born in Fairview, and was a retired telephone operator for 36 years for Bell Telephone Co. in Cliffside Park. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for The American Legion Post 365 in Fairview where her husband was commander from 1983 to 1987 and 1993 to 1995.She was the wife to the late David J. (2012); sister to Katherine Boltuski; aunt to Helen Cordts, Barbara and Bob Wilson, Rosemary Hayden, Robert and Kathleen Spendley, Janet Spendley, William and Janet Spendley, Mary Ann Hutchinson, Robert Joiner and Joseph Urban. Anna is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. Services arranged by the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.
