Funeral services took place Jan. 5 for Lillian Menzel, 87, of North Bergen. She passed away Jan 1. She was born in Hackensack and lived most of her life in North Bergen. Lillian was a crossing guard for Hudson County for many years before retiring. She was the wife of the late Robert Menzel and the mother of Harold and the late Glenn and Russell Menzel. She was the sister of Georgiana De Letter and Mildred Miller as well as the grandmother of Scott, Robert, Jacques, Jarrod, Quantre, Omar, Jaharan and Joseph Menzel and great granddaughter Kaylena Rose.
