A memorial mass was held Jan. 5 at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church for Anita M. Giaimo. She passed away Dec. 26. Anita was a lifelong resident of Hoboken. She first started working at K&E in Hoboken, then was a secretary at Stevens Institute of Technology, and also at the unemployment office in Union City for many years. She was an avid bingo player and loved Atlantic City. Anita was a faithful customer of the Dunkin Donuts on 7th and Washington in Hoboken. She was the sister of Rose Barberio and the late Charles Giaimo, Thomas Giaimo, Sam Giaimo, and Sadie Thomas; and Aunt of Connie Media, Pam Visconi, Carl Giaimo, Lisa O’Hara, William Giaimo, and David Giaiamo.
