A mass of resurrection took place Dec. 17 at St. Cecelia’s R.C. Church, Iselin, for Vincenza Vita (D’Orio) Lanzone, 81. She died Dec. 13 at the Riverton Nursing Home in Rahway. Vincenza was born in Hoboken and resided in Union City for most of her life. Vincenza was predeceased by her brother Vito D’Orio in 1994. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony Lanzone; her sons Christopher, Mark, and Thomas; her daughter, Anne Marie Lavelle and husband Frank; four grandchildren Gina Lanzone, Lisa Hunter, Anthony Lanzone, and Carla Lanzone; one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
