Funeral services took place Dec. 18 for Thomas J. Casey, 85, of Belmar. He passed away at home on Dec. 14. A retired truck driver and member of Teamsters Local 560, Mr. Casey was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident there until 2007, relocating to Belmar. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the VFW of Milford, Pa. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1980, a daughter Patricia and a brother John. Surviving is his daughter Colleen Peters, a brother Edward Casey, three grandsons Joseph, Thomas, and Wayne and two great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
