To the Editor:
On behalf of the Bayonne Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken baseball leagues, I would like to thank everyone at the Chandelier Restaurant who helped make our 15th annual awards dinner a great success. We have had our awards ceremonies there for years and every year they get better and better.
It starts at the top with Rocky Coviello, who has been a tremendous and loyal supporter to the kids in the Bayonne Cal Ripken baseball league. Rocky sponsors a team, is a sign sponsor, and has always been quick to help whenever possible so that the youth in our town can enjoy the great game of baseball.
As for the Chandelier Restaurant, the food year after year is absolutely delicious and the service is beyond good. It is great! Rocky’s staff, especially Victor, is terrific and they are always so accommodating, even with the many changes that we always seem to have when we run an event of this size. The service is outstanding and all of the workers do it with a smile.
Not only is the league thrilled with the staff and services but it does not go unnoticed by the 250 people who are at the event every year. I was told over and over again how happy they were with the fantastic establishment.
