A funeral mass was held Nov. 24 at the dePaul Chapel at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City, for John Bennett ‘Jack’ (Detective JCPD), 58. He died Nov. 16 at home. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Bayonne. He was the husband of Debra Warie Bennett; father of Sophia Mary Martha Bennett. Brother of Sharon Arnone and Barbara Azzarello; son of the late Mary (Mac Donald) and Stanley Bennett; also survived by nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
