Thank you, BMC

To the Editor:

It was the evening of Hurricane Sandy when my adult son fell down the stairs. The following day, he went to Overlook Hospital in Summit because it was the hospital approved by his medical plan. Unfortunately, he suffered two broken ribs, and was given a shot and two prescriptions for his pain medication.
Upon return to Bayonne, they could not locate any open pharmacies, all of which were closed because of the super storm. I remembered that Bayonne Medical Center has a pharmacy, so we went to see if it was open. Fortunately it was, and the prescriptions were promptly filled by the pharmacist on duty.
A most sincere thank you to BMC and their staff for having this service available during one of the worst storms Bayonne has ever experienced.
