The St. Mary’s Star of the Sea PeeWee Basketball League has announced the results of playoff games played during the week of Nov. 17.
In the Girls’ League, the Rams defeated the Blue Devils, 31-15. Scoring for the Rams were Tamia Phillips, 14; Samantha Fortune, 8; Jazmyn Maldonado, 5; Elena Vodychko, 2; and Jenna Smith, 2. For the Blue Devils, Annie O’Neill, 6; Kayla Klumpp, 5; Gianna Servodio, 2; Casey Kelly, 1; and Kelly Hester, 1; scored points.
The Hoyas beat the Pirates, 15-5. Scoring for the Hoyas were Brigid McCabe, 6; Jessica Van Sant, 6; Caroline O’Rourke, 2; and Kaitlyn Gaetani, 1. For the Pirates, Sarah Wilson, 4; and Emily Walsh, 1; scored.
In the Boys’ League, the Knicks defeated the Hoyas, 36-32. Scoring for the Knicks were Matthew Dobronsky, 14; Jeffery Van Sant, 10; Ryan Rzepinski, 8; Zach Taylor, 2; and Logan Mazziota, 2. For the Hoyas, Landon Paradine scored all 32 points.
The Rams beat the Lakers, 31-12. Scoring for the Rams were Gregory Van Sant, 8; Avery Powel, 8; Devin Gomez, 7; Chase Pease, 4; and Ian Wilson, 4. For the Lakers, Elijah Flourney, 10; and Louis Pelliccia, 2; scored.
