A funeral mass was offered Nov. 21 at Ss. Peter and Paul’s R.C. Church in Hoboken for Theresa A. Cappiello, 84, of Hoboken. She passed away Nov. 18 at Jersey City Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City, Theresa lived in Hoboken for many years. She often attended the St. Jude novena and St. Lucy’s Church in Jersey City. A mother and wife, Theresa will be missed by her husband of 37 years, Joseph M. Cappiello; her sons; William Barry and his wife Denise, Robert Barry and his wife Olga, Dennis Barry and his wife Laura, and James Barry and his late wife Patricia, and her only daughter Maureen Lupo and her husband Federico. A great joy in Theresa’s life were her 13 grandchildren. She is also survived by many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Kevin and his late wife Teresa. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
