HUDSON COUNTY – With some segments of the PATH line out of commission, buses between Hudson County and New York are getting more crowded. Recently, a ferry route was added at $5 per ride until the PATH service is fully restored.
Meanwhile, some people had delays of over an hour on Monday morning due to a crash between two buses, owned respectively by New Jersey Transit and Martz Trailways, near the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel. No one was killed in the crash, but about 20 were injured, according to the New York Times. A second collision involving a bus and a car around 9:30a.m. added to the delays.
According to Port Authority spokesman Ray Marisco, two of the commuters injured in the bus collision are in serious condition.
