Benefit concert Thursday at Maxwell’s to support ‘Vote No on 2’ effort

HOBOKEN – A concert to benefit the Hoboken Fair Housing Association is scheduled for Thursday Oct. 25 at Maxwell’s, 1039 Washington St., at 8 p.m., and features a line-up of local musicians.
The concert organizers hope the show, presented as the ‘Save Rent Control Maxwell’s Blowout,’ will help get tenants out on Nov. 6 to vote ‘No’ on Hoboken Public Question 2, a referendum on changes in the rent control ordinance.
Some of the performers scheduled to appear are the Demolition String Band, Karyn Kuhl Band, the FAVE, Marco Brehm and Friends,
Debby Schwartz, the Benson Ridge Project, Gene D. Singing Plumber, John O’Toole, Joel Stephens, plus other special guests.
