A funeral service took place Oct. 13 at Saint’s Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church for Andrew Fajvan Jr., 85. He died Oct. 7 at home with his wife Anna at his side. Born in Jersey City, he later moved to West Orange. He was a draftsman for Westinghouse Corp, in Jersey City, retiring after 35 years of service. Andrew was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the husband of Anna Fajvan for 57 years; father of Andrew III, Marybeth Stenko, Terese Ann Wisniewski, Michael (Mary), John (Natalie), Laura Johnson (David), William (Kerri Lyn); grandfather of Victoria, Paul, Jennifer, Stephanie, David, Marianne, and John; and brother of George and the late John.
