A funeral mass was offered Oct. 8 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Hoboken for Eileen “Clancy” Lorenzo, 88, of Hoboken. She passed away peacefully at her Willow Terrace residence surrounded by her family on Oct. 5. A lifelong Hoboken resident, Clancy was a past Hoboken Irish Woman of The Year. Eileen retired after many years of employment for the City of Hoboken as a Clerk in the Tax Office. She often participated in the Our Lady of Grace productions as a member of the OLG Players. Clancy will be missed by her daughter Julia Audrey Romano and her husband Joseph, her son Peter Lorenzo and his wife Rosemarie. She was predeceased by her son Kenneth in 2008. A great joy in Eileen’s life were her grandchildren; David, Hope, John, Beth, Laura, Michelle, Meredith, Holly; and her greatgrandchildren Lauren, David, Aliyah, Peter, Barbara, Tatum, Lorenzo, and Trey.
