Dear Editor:
In what world does Mayor Zimmer live where she can retain the council president’s services for personal use, not disclose this information, and act outraged when people ask for a little transparency?
Reform, ethics, and banning “pay to play” were supposed hallmarks of this administration. Now we’re finding out Mayor Zimmer has been hiring the same council president who has donated thousands to mayors across New Jersey only to be given lucrative legal contracts, according to the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal. It sure is good of our esteemed mayor to practically purchase a rubber stamp for her agenda.
Mayor Zimmer can use the term “reformer” all she wants, but I’ll go with the more apt description – “hypocrite.”
