A funeral mass was offered Sept. 26 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Rose Marano, 93, a lifelong Hoboken resident. She passed away Sept. 22 in Secaucus. A housewife and mother, Mrs. Marano will be missed by her two daughters Ann Marie Hochstadter and Carol Heenan, and their husbands Edward Hochstadter and Arthur Heenan. Rose was predeceased by three siblings and her husband Anthony ‘Blackie’ Marano, she was widowed in 2006. Rose was adored by her grandchildren, Hoboken Police Sergeant Scott Hochstadter, Anthony Hochstadter and Edward Hochstadter and his wife Dara, and Bryan Heenan. She was blessed to see and enjoy two great grandchildren, Evan and Ally Hochstadter. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
