HOBOKEN — The Hoboken Charter School fire fundraiser is tonight (Tuesday) from 6 to 10 p.m. Due to an overwhelming response, it will now fill two venues.
The fundraiser, which was started by local businessman Rory Chadwick and the Hoboken Rotary Club to raise money to rebuild the Charter School after the Sept 6 fire devastation, was originally set to be at the Turtle Club (936 Park Ave). The outpouring of expected attendees has spurred them to add a second location, the 10th and Willow Bar and Grill. That bar is located at…well, 10th and Willow.
A complimentary beverage will be given to anyone who donates $10 or more at the door. Additionally, there will be many raffled and silent auction items given away in efforts to raise more money for the school. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to the Hoboken Charter school and the event is rain or shine.
