A funeral mass was held Sept. 10 at Holy Rosary Church for Filomena ‘Minnie’ Colasurdo, 87 of Jersey City. She passed away Sept. 7 at her home. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker. Minnie was a member of Holy Rosary Church and an active member of the Rosary Altar Society and Holy Rosary Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 1987, her siblings Ralph Strocchio and Angelina Mattaliano. She is the mother of Anthony Colasurdo and Ralph Colasurdo and his wife Jane; grandmother of Anthony, Nicholas, Christopher and Jillian Colasurdo. She is also survived by her sister Mariana Lagani.
