New Jersey City resident murdered weeks after relocating from Georgia

JERSEY CITY – The death of a man who recently relocated to Jersey City from Georgia has been classified as a homicide, according to the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor. The victim, Lamar Glover, sustained one gunshot wound to the head Saturday afternoon.
According to a news report on NJ.com, Glover was standing with a group of people outside a home on Randolph Avenue, in the Greenville section of Jersey City, at the time he was shot. Another man in the group was also shot in the leg, according to the web site, but did not sustain serious injury.
Glover was shot after the gunman got out of a car that had stopped near where the group was standing.
