Funeral mass was offered Aug. 23 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, North Bergen, for Frank E. Steinheimer, Sr., 91, of North Bergen. He passed away Aug. 19. He was the husband of Lillian (nee: Vogle); father of John (Barbara) and Frank, Jr.; brother of Helen Mickert, Dorothy Cocca, George Steinheimer and the late Catherine Groner, John Steinheimer, Bertha Salerno and Rose Daly; grandfather of Shawn; great grandfather of Olivia and Ethan. Frank was born in New York City, NY and moved to North Bergen at age 7. He retired From Cresthill Button Company where he worked in maintenance. Frank was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the 16th Infantry as a Staff Sergeant. He also belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Secaucus.
