A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Aug. 18 at St. Paul of the Cross Church for Bray M. French, 82. He passed away Aug. 13. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, Bray was self employed in the construction business and later became property manager for Barbara Fielding Enterprises, retiring in 1991 after 25 years of service. Bray is the husband of Adelaide (nee: O’Mara) French; father of Barbara French, Adelaide Ratti (Dave), William L. French, Bray M. French, Jr. (Cathy), Debra Daly (Michael), Annmarie Callahan, Darlene Stieh (Mark) and Kenneth French (fiancee, Esther); grandfather of 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
