A mass of Christian burial was offered Aug. 10 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken for Anthony Palmisano, 94, of Hoboken. He passed away Aug. 6 at the Harbor View Health Center in Jersey City. Born in Rodi Gerganico, Italy, Mr. Palmisano arrived in Hoboken in 1928. A retired hilo operator with Smiths Transport Hob., he was a member of Union Local560. He served in the CC Camps as a United States Citizen. Surviving is one sister, Anna Cappiello and two brothers, retired Hoboken Police Officer Frank Palmisano, and Peter Palmisano. Anthony was the uncle to a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
