Jersey City Missionary Elnora Benthal celebrated her 99th birthday at a gala event sponsored by her family in the Casino in the Park, Jersey City.
Missionary Benthal was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on May 11, 1913 and has resided in Jersey City since 1940 for the past 72 years. The Missionary was a Sunday School Superintendent for thirty years at the Reformed Church of the Living God and has perfect attendance at the school.
She is the proud mother of 10 children, grandmother of 30, great grandmother of 61 and great great grandmother of 16.
