NORTH BERGEN – Mayor Nicholas J. Sacco, Public Safety Commissioner Theresa Ferraro, Township Commissioners, and the North Bergen Police Department will welcome hundreds of local residents to three locations as the township celebrates National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The annual event promotes a strong partnership between law enforcement and the community by bringing people together for a night of food, fun and giving residents a chance to interact with law enforcement in an informal setting.
The three block party locations for National Night Out in North Bergen are:
Grand Avenue between Seventh and Eighth streets
Broadway between 73rd and 76th Street
6121-6131 Grand Ave. (North Bergen Housing Authority)
Each block party begins at 6 p.m.
Mayor Sacco and other township officials will tour the three locations, beginning at Grand Avenue at 6 p.m., followed by the Housing Authroity at 7 p.m. and then Broadway at 8 p.m.
Each location will feature free food and drinks, music raffles, giveaways and fun activities for the whole family. All North Bergen residents are invited to attend the festivities.
