A funeral service was held July 18 for Victoria L. Ramos, 53. She passed away at her home in Jersey City on July 14. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, Victoria was a registered nurse and head ER nurse for St. Francis Hospital. Upon the closing of St. Francis, she continued her nursing work in various other capacities until retiring several years ago, after 26 years of nursing service. Victoria was the wife of Orlando Ramos; mother of Nicolette Keys (Nathan) and Bianca Ramos; daughter of Josephine and the late Victor Nazario; sister of Victor Nazario, Jr., Darren Nazario, Robyn Gibney (John) and Kenneth Nazario (Pina); grandmother of Savannah Ramos. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Jersey City, at a date and time to be announced.
