Funeral services were held July 16 for Alice Bryant Damon, 93 a lifelong Jersey City resident. She died July 8 at Hamilton Park Health Care Center, Jersey City. Born in Mount Holly, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Mary Myers Bryant and Abraham Bryant. She retired in 1984 after 35 years of service with Western Electric Company, Kearny. She was the wife of the late Ulysses ‘Jimmy’ Damon. One of 13 siblings, she is survived by her sister, Helen Bryant and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
