A memorial service was held July 14 for John H. Arnebold, 70, of North Bergen. He died July 4 at Valley Hospital. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Hoboken and West New York before moving to North Bergen 10 years ago. He was a taxi cab dispatcher for General Taxi in Union City for the last 30 years. John was the father of Michele Lannon, and her husband Michael, and John M. Arnebold; he was the brother of Katherine Ising, Jack Groverland, and Irene (Sally) Deering; as well as the grandfather of Ronald De Angelus III. Services arranged by the Galante Funeral Home, Union.
