A funeral service was held June 26 at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church, Jersey City, for Vasilike Kominos Karvounis of Jersey City. She passed away June 20. Mrs. Karvounis was born in Greece and lived in Jersey City for many years. She and her late husband were owners and operators of Olympic Restaurant in Jersey City. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Karvounis; sister in law of Panagiota Kominos; and also survived by nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
