Services for the celebration of life of Phyllis Mary Howard, 88, were held on June 22 at Monumental Baptist Church. She passed away on June 15, 2012. She is the beloved wife of Theophilus Curtis; daughter of Sylvester and Winifred Owens; loving mother of Juanita Howard, Phillip Howard, Crystal Howard and her husband Hugh; and Winifred Mullins and her husband Michael; grandmother of seven grandchild and two great-grandchildren; sister of the late Juanita Owens; also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements were by the Funeraria San Camilo, Newark. Interment, Hoboken Cemetery, North Bergen.
