HUDSON COUNTY – The much anticipated MTV reality show “Snooki & JWoww,” a spinoff from “Jersey Shore” will premiere on Thursday, June 21 at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
For six weeks earlier this year, the partying pair lived in a house in downtown Jersey City that was a converted firehouse. The producers originally wanted to film in Hoboken, but Mayor Dawn Zimmer said she didn’t want to attract the ruckus that comes with the Jersey Shore cast.
Snooki discovered around the new year that she was pregnant, so the spinoff show will likely be more subdued than the regular “Jersey Shore” program. Snooki is also recently engaged to the baby’s father, her boyfriend Jionni. She is expecting a baby boy.
The show will run for 12 episodes, said an MTV exec. Besides the pregnancy, the program will also focus on JWOWW’s relationship with boyfriend Roger and where they see it heading in the future.
The first episode will be entitled, “Sorry Neighbors, ’Cause These Bitches Are Moving In.”
