Funeral services took place June 12 for Rose Marie Saltarelli, 56. She died peacefully at home on June 9. Rose Marie was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She had been a Jersey City school crossing guard for 25 years at the corner of Danforth Avenue and Old Bergen Road, where she always had a happy smile for all who passed her way. She retired three years ago. Rose Marie was the daughter of Patsy and Mary Faccone; she was the sister of Teresa Conklin and her husband Edward Conklin; and aunt of Edward P. Conklin.
