A mass of Christian burial was held on June 9 at St. Aedan’s Church for Kathleen A. Kowal, 78, who passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, she is the devoted mother of Debra Knaus (Donald), Joseph, Robert (Barbara), Gregory, and the late Diane; dear sister of the late Joseph, Thomas, Francis, Charles (Buddy), Albert, Mary, Roseanne, and Leona; devoted grandmother of William, Donald Jr., David, Matthew, Adina, Melissa, Adam, Simone, Patrick, and Allison; loving great-grandmother of Skylar, Samya, Asyah, Skylar, Taylor and Allison; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were by the McLaughlin Funeral Home. Cremation, private.
