Funeral services were held on May 25 at Monumental Baptist Church for Ret. Detective Benjamin Adams, JCPD. He passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. He is the husband of Joanne Adams; father of Linwood Adams; grandfather of Marquis Boyd; brother of Walter, Joe Louis, Richard, Homer, Ida Hill, Esther Whipple, Tillie Mahone, Patricia, and Joy; brother-in-law of Bert, Betty, and Vivian; nephew of James and Connie Smith. Arrangements were by the Watson Mortuary Service. Interment, Bayview Cemetery.
