To the Editor:
On April 27, Holy Family Academy held their third card party, “Under the Big Top.” We were very fortunate to achieve our goal with this fundraiser for the school. This card party was a team effort, and many thanks to all involved.
First, thank you to the members of the Holy Family Mother’s Club. Your donations with gifts, your help with setting up the night before the party, your time to work the party, and your support of this fundraiser were all deeply appreciated!
Then, thank you to all the girls, the students, that made the night a huge success. You served many dinners and desserts to 245 guests. You ran prizes throughout the night. Girls, thanks for a job well done!
Next, to the businesses of Bayonne, Jersey City and Hoboken that gave generously to HFA’s card party. Each of your donations helped to meet our goal for the night. Thank you for your commitment to our school.
Lastly, thank you to the principal, Mrs. Tremitiedi, and the staff of HFA for believing in our girls and the school for continued success. We thank you!
A special note: Thank you to Denise Zygmund-Murphy for going out of HFA with a bang. Your dedication to this fundraiser was “over the top.” Best wishes to Morgan and you next year in college. You will be missed!
Finally, thanks to the many guests that came to our card party. We hope you had a good time and please continue to support our school.
