SECAUCUS – A 34-year-old man has died of his injuries after falling about 45 feet when a lift he was operating flipped onto its side at a construction site on Meadowlands Parkway Friday morning, according to news reports.
Arris Tunc of Clifton was still alive when emergency responders arrived and he was taken by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He suffered internal trauma when he struck the pavement in the second lane of Meadowlands Parkway at 10th Street. The incident is said to be accidental.
