Hudson School students excel on National Latin Exam

Latin students at The Hudson School once again performed outstandingly on the National Latin Exam, sponsored by the American Classical League. Of the 101 Hudson students who took the test, 66 received an award, and 69 percent had scores at or above the national average.
Seventh grade student Jackson Weaver of Jersey City received a perfect score on the Introduction to Latin test.
Robert Stark, 10th grade student from Hoboken, received a gold medal for his performance on the Latin 3 test. Ninth grade student Anna Suben of Hoboken received a gold medal for her performance on the Latin 2 test.
Eighth grade students of Jersey City who received gold medals for their performances on the Latin 1 test included Darcy Chanin, Joshua Myers, Neil Agarwal, Adyan Rahman, Kunal Chandak, and Ellie Clermont. Several students from Hoboken, including Henry Reid, Kaylee Capruso, and Ali Gilman, also received gold medals for their performances on the Latin 1 test.
