A funeral mass was offered on April 19 at Our Lady of Fatima Church for William Patrick “Doc” Dougherty, who passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012. He was a member of the Edward McDowell V.F.W. Post No. 2648 in North Bergen, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the Disabled American Vets. He was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah Dougherty; loving husband of Mary Ann Dougherty (Miller); brother of the late Thomas J. Dougherty; also survived by many loving sisters- and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral arrangements were provided by the Vainieri Funeral Home. Interment , Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
