BAYONNE — An emergency repair to a damaged valve in the vicinity of West 33rd Street and Avenue A in Bayonne necessitated a shut down of water service from West 32nd Street to Roosevelt Terrace from Avenue A west to Newark Bay.
“We expect full service to be restored by 2 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 although it may be restored earlier and we appreciate your patience as we work to make this emergency repair,” said City Spokesperson Dr. Joseph Ryan.
