Funeral mass was held Jan. 17 at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Jersey City, for Edward Swift. He passed away Jan. 13. Born in Jersey City, Swift was a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Swift was predeceased by his siblings Helen De Meter, Micky Sanderson, Edward and Harry Monahan. He is survived by nephews Harry Monahan and his wife Patricia and Christopher Monahan (JCPD) and his wife Sharon. He is also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews Christopher Jr, Joseph A., and Ryan Monahan, Nichole Rogan, Nicholas, Andrew, and Brandon Lane, Gerald Azzerallo Jr, Ashton Monahan, Laura and her husband Anthony Pingitor and their children Mason and Makyna. Services arranged by the Michalski Funeral Home, Jersey City.
