Funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 12 at St. Mary’s Church, Jersey City, for Rolando Ramos, 51. He passed away Jan. 8 at his home. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he lived most of his life in Jersey City. He was the son of Carmen Millagros Velasquez and Pedro Rivera; father of Mingie Ramos and Jesenia Torres, brother of Carmen Fernandez and her husband John, Olga Orta, Emilano Gonzalez, Nicolas Orta, and Luis Ramos. He is also the grandfather of Angel Jeant. Services arranged by the Introcaso Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
