A funeral mass was offered Dec. 28 at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church for Daniel J. Cristi. He passed away Dec. 23. He was the husband of Louise (Lateano); father of Barbara Memos and Diane Muscolino and her husband Richard; brother of John; grandfather of Richard, Ross, Michele and Geena; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dan will be sorely missed by his wonderful co-workers at Penick Corporation where, for 36 years, he was Production Area Manager. In the 1970s he enjoyed serving as Pool Commissioner for the North Bergen Pool, a favorite hangout for countless neighborhood friends. Family and friends were always most important to Dan. His family is comforted by the fact that that Dan joyfully reflected upon his 85 years of life by saying: “I was always happy and I was always healthy.” Services arranged by the Clerici Funeral Home, Union City.
