A funeral mass was performed Jan. 5 at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken, for Rose Josephine Cemelli, of Secaucus, formerly of Weehawken. She passed away Dec. 31 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, James. She was the mother of James F., Rosemary Thiemann, Frank, Genevieve Pezzino, Peter, Paul and the late Pfc Salvatore C. Cemelli, U.S. Army. Predeceased by all her brothers and sisters, she is survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Rose was grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers.
