To the Editor:
I read about the press conference that Mark Smith, mayor of Bayonne and head of the Hudson County Democratic Organization, and Jay Jacobs, chairman of the New York Democratic Committee, held recently about Mitt Romney’s $10,000 bet challenge to Rick Perry during a recent presidential debate. Is this the best the Democratic leaders can do in their politico attacks? They continue their class warfare, class envy, attack on hard work and success.
Someone should ask Mark Smith how much he and his political friends took in from our ex-governor John Corzine and where is the missing $1.2 billion from MF Global. Don’t forget Mark Smith gets a large pension and also the mayor’s salary. So he is doing just fine on the taxpayer’s dime.
