SECAUCUS AND BEYOND — A huge dinosaur exhibit will consume part of a park in Secaucus starting this coming May, according to an announcement at a four-hour press conference and demonstration held at the site this weekend.
According to a press release, “Field Station: Dinosaurs is an interactive outdoor Jurassic learning destination. This exciting tourist attraction will take visitors back 90 million years with 31 full-sized animatronic dinosaurs.”
It will also include “a dinosaur petting zoo and interactive educational programs along a .75 mile trail nestled near the Snake Hill prehistoric rock formation in Laurel Hill Park.”
No, the humongous creatures are not alive like in the movie Jurassic Park. But they’ll be big.
Besides holding a press conference Sunday, the organizers took their 14-foot T-Rex to the Secaucus Junction train station and board an NJ Transit shuttle to the stadium to interact with Giants fans.
