Dear Editor:
The cold weather is approaching us quickly and our team has joined together with Garden State Science & Technology Institute to put together a Coat Drive as the winter is just around the corner. We are asking those of us that can, to donate a gently worn coat through December 6, 2011 and help someone in need.
You can drop off a coat at the following five locations: (1) Garden State Science & Technology Institute, 591 Summit Avenue, Ste. 705, (2) Steven Fulop HQ, 353 Second Street (corner of Newark Ave and Monmouth St.), (3) Freeholder Bill O’Dea Clubhouse, 120 Mallory Ave, (4) Gary’s Sweete Shoppe, 444 West Side Ave., (5) Jay’s School Uniforms, 540 West Side Ave.
While taking away the chill for others this winter we all can participate in making a difference by improving the quality of life and providing some safety for the health and well being of the people we care about in every neighborhood. This Coat Drive is a great way to help people in the community even during an economically difficult time.
If you would like to receive a coat, please call (201) 547-5315 and leave your name and contact information.
What do you say this winter? Let’s warm up Jersey City!
Steven Fulop
